More Nugget Tins

I had gift cards to give for Christmas so I decided to make a couple more tins and put the gift cards under the nuggets. I think they turned out really nice. I used Designer Series paper to cover the nuggets and one tag was made from the Hand Selected Accents and Elements tin the other was made with the stamp set Snow Blizzard from Stampin Up and Holiday Treats Stamp Set from Papertrey Ink

Nugget Tins

This is what I am using for my gift cards this year. I am actually working on making several different versions. These tins Kelly found here http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=41 they are very quick about shipping. Thanks again Kelly you are the enabler on this project.
These are very simple to make. They hold 12 Hershey Nuggets inside the container. I just wrapped the nuggets in Designer Series Paper and tied a ribbon around the tin to close.

Had to Share

Ok, so I had to share. I have been in my stamp room for what seems like days trying to get everything ready for Christmas. I got a good look at my desk and realized it was getting very small. I think I need to learn to put things away as I finish with them.

Christmas Ornament

I just love this little snowman. He is from the soon to be retired Holiday Tag Team set. This is a clear glass ornament. You stamp your image on Accetate or Transparencies with Staz On ink and then flip your image over and color in with Sharpies. The White is actually a Sharpie oil based paint pen.

Flo Valley Stamp Camp

This is one of the boxes that we made at the Flo Valley stamp camp.

It is simple. Just score the 11" side at 3", 5", 8", & 10" score the 8 1/2" side at 1 1/2" & 2" the 2" will be your box bottom. Cut all but one of the panels off of the top section and use that to fold over and make your lid.

There is a great tutorial posted here for this box.

Birthday Present

I made this little tin full of Hershey's nuggets for a friend of mine I work with for her birthday. You wouldn't believe it but the container is actually a little pringles can. I just covered it with Designer Series paer and tied a ribbon around the top.
I covered the nuggets with the same paper. I ran 3" strips of paper through my Xryon and the cut them to 3" x 1" and covered each one of the nuggets. I printed the "Happy Birthday" off of the computer onto 8160 Avery labels and just wrapped them around the nuggets also. To get the paper on the top I cut an "X" in the lid and ran different strips of paper through the crimper and then just folded the paper in half and stuck it through the "X". Enjoy!
